Teaching with Canvas: Surface

A CSPD developed professional learning course for teachers

This 2 hour professional learning is designed for teachers who will be teaching using a Canvas course that is already built.

Course Preface and Learning Intentions

This course is designed to facilitate the Professional Learning course "Teaching with Canvas: Surface"

This course will:

build on the prior knowledge of participants
expose participants to best practice models
involve multiple opportunities for collaborating with peers as they explore new content
provide opportunities for personal reflection/ feedback on own practice and that of peers
require participants to apply course learning to their own classroom/ teaching context.

3.4.2 - Select and/or create and use a range of resources, including ICT, to engage students in their learning.

6.2.2 - Participate in learning to update knowledge and practice, targeted to professional needs and school and/or system priorities.

Course Schedule

This course is delivered as a 2 hour face to face twilight session 2-4pm.
