Course Description

This qualification provides a pathway to work in early childhood education and caring centres which support the implementation of an approved learning framework, and support children’s wellbeing, learning and development.

Work could be undertaken in a long day care or after school care facility, where the student can respond to children through play and learning, promoting the care and safety of children. Possible job titles include childcare worker.

Eligibility for Qualification

Students assessed as fulfilling the requirements for all the units listed above will be eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment towards CHC30121 Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care listing all of these units; otherwise, they will receive only the ones that they have achieved.

An annual fee of $150 is added to school fees for this course for consumables.
